We have the pleasure of performing at incredible venues in Florida! And Polk County has a variety of hidden gems. Below are some of our favorites...
Bonnet Springs Park
This park is 168 acres of nature and fun! Whether you’re hosting an al fresco event or not, this property is a stunner! In their words,” we offer the perfect setting for everything from intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations!" While the majority of the park is open to the public, there is a private Event Center. This Center has an indoor ballroom (pictured above with our vintage dancers performing), a lovely patio area with an outdoor kitchen, and of course a gorgeous garden. And the ballroom boasts floor to ceiling windows so you have views of the green scenery! As you can see from the gallery below, we’ve been a part of many events here, featuring a range of themes including Glow, Circus, Halloween/Vampire Ball, and Golden.
We also have been a part of one of the public events hosted by the park – Light Up BSP - to which we brought a Line Dance Instructor along with Santa and Mrs. Claus in their favorite western outfits. No matter what your theme is, Bonnet Springs Park is a natural winner!
Junior League of Greater Lakeland
Lakefront and full of historical significance, this venue is charming and versatile. The building itself is a classically beautiful Italian Renaissance structure built in 1927 as a clubhouse for women (because in the 1920s women were not allowed to meet in the buildings where men’s clubs met.) Today, the JLGL, a charitable organization of committed women volunteers, owns and operates the building. To learn more about how renting this venue improves the local community, click here. The patio and garden overlook Lake Morton, and is ideal for cocktail hours or children’s outdoor activities. Inside, you’ll find an entry area, followed by a large ballroom complete with a stage.
We've brought many themes to life in this charming venue, including Alice in Wonderland, The Nutcracker, Halloween, and a European village.
Nineteen61
Nestled upstairs of this amazing restaurant, you’ll discover Vasco61 – their swanky rooftop bar! This is a great location for birthday festivities, or cocktail hours! They also have an additional banquet space available to rent. If you’re looking for a lounge vibe, and top-notch bites & beverages, check out this stylish spot!
We've brought performers to two celebrations at Vasco61, and both of those events highlighted Havana Nights theming.
